Czas teraźniejszy (Present Simple Tense)

The present tense in Polish describes ongoing actions, habitual actions, or general truths.

Usage:

• To describe actions happening now: Ja czytam książkę. (I am reading a book.)
• To express habitual actions: Codziennie biegam. (I run every day.)
• To state general truths: Słońce świeci. (The sun shines.)

Aspect:

• Imperfective Aspect (aspekt niedokonany): Used for ongoing or repeated actions.
  • Example: Czytam książkę. (I am reading a book.)
• Perfective Aspect (aspekt dokonany): Not applicable in the present tense since it does not describe actions that are ongoing or habitual.

Conjugation (Perfective):
