Futuro Simple

El Futuro Simple se utiliza para describir acciones o eventos que ocurrirán en el futuro. También se usa para hacer predicciones, expresar decisiones espontáneas o indicar planes futuros.

Formación

El futuro simple se forma usando "will" o "shall" + la forma base del verbo principal.

Sujeto	Verbo auxiliar (will)	Ejemplo de verbo (to eat)
I / You / We / They / He / She / It	will	eat

• Afirmativo: I will eat, She will eat
• Negativo: I will not eat (o I won’t eat), They will not eat (o They won’t eat)
• Interrogativo: Will you eat?, Will he eat?

Uso

1. Acciones Futuras: Describe acciones que ocurrirán en el futuro.
   • They will arrive tomorrow.
2. Predicciones: Se utiliza para hacer conjeturas o predicciones sobre el futuro.
   • It will rain later.
3. Decisiones Espontáneas: Describe decisiones tomadas en el momento de hablar.
   • I’ll help you with that.
4. Promesas u Ofrecimientos: Expresa promesas u ofrecimientos.
   • I will call you later.
5. Planes e Intenciones (uso menos común): Shall también se puede usar con I y we para sugerencias formales o corteses.
   • Shall we go for a walk?

Ejemplos:

• Afirmativo: We will travel next week.
• Negativo: He won’t be at the meeting.
• Interrogativo: Will you attend the party?

Notas

• Shall es menos común en el inglés moderno pero se puede usar con I y we para declaraciones corteses o formales, particularmente en el inglés británico.
• El Futuro Simple se usa a menudo con expresiones de tiempo como tomorrow, next week, in an hour, soon, etc.
